We had so much fun playing in the snow during Kandi & Stephen’s engagement session! They were engaged in December, and wanted to celebrate that by doing their photos in the snow. I love how they turned out! I’m so excited for their wedding this summer at the Fair Harbor Marina in Grapeview! It will be completely different from their snowy photos, but sure to be just as gorgeous!

Melissa & Ted’s Wedding Day | The Barn on Jackson | Chehalis, WA
What a great day! I think it’s safe to say that these two have a very blessed marriage ahead of them. On the morning of their wedding day the rain was pouring down with thick dark clouds covering the entire sky. As soon as it was time for photos the rain stopped and a rainbow made a brief appearance for our backdrop! And THEN, as soon as the ceremony began the dark clouds swept away completely and the sun was shining! It was an absolutely perfect day in every way, from the charming details of the reception to the fun dance party that wrapped up the night!

A Beautiful Seattle Wedding at the Edgewater Hotel
I recently shot a beautiful wedding with my friend, Joni Girvan, at the Edgewater in Seattle. Svenja and Garrett are such a sweet couple! Their wedding day was SUPER stormy, but it didn’t make a dent in their perfect day! Everyone was in high spirits and the place was full of love. I even got to play hero for a minute when the flower girl caught her dress on fire while twirling in the isle past a candle. I put it out (with my hand!! #likeaboss) without her ever knowing she was on fire!! Saving lives and taking photos, all in a day’s work ; )
