Back in my own high school days I worked at a local camp kitchen washing dishes. I spent a lot of time at this camp and got to know the family that ran it. One adorable little member of that family was miss Madi. She was about 7 years old then. And now she is a beautiful young lady with a very bright future!!! It was great to reconnect with Madi this fall, hear about her plans for after high school, and see what a beautful girl she’s grown up to be.
Meet my favorite high school senior (who just so happens to be my beautiful cousin), Katie! I love this beautiful girl and cannot believe she’s graduating this year!! Seems like just a couple years ago I was tossing her up in the air while we were dancing and rocking out to “Kate” by Ben Folds Five :) 
I recently shot a beautiful wedding with my friend, Joni Girvan, at the Edgewater in Seattle. Svenja and Garrett are such a sweet couple! Their wedding day was SUPER stormy, but it didn’t make a dent in their perfect day! Everyone was in high spirits and the place was full of love. I even got to play hero for a minute when the flower girl caught her dress on fire while twirling in the isle past a candle. I put it out (with my hand!! #likeaboss) without her ever knowing she was on fire!! Saving lives and taking photos, all in a day’s work ; )
